Christmas baybeh.

It's Christmas Eve!
However, as the years go by..
People are missing the REAL meaning to this season.
Yes, it is a time to open gifts, have fun and celebrate.
But what exactly are we celebrating?
The day where our Saviour and Abba Daddy was born.
Take the song 'We Are The Reason' for example.
As little children
We would dream of Christmas morn
And all the gifts and toys we knew we'd find
But we never realised
A baby born one blessed night
Gave us the greatest gift of our lives
As the years went by
We learnt more about gifts
And the giving of ourselves
And what that means
On a dark and cloudy day
A man hung crying in the rain
Because of love, because of love
So, in reality. All the gifts we receive each year can never amount to the greatest gift we received,
2000 years ago.
Another song, 'Come On, Ring Those Bells' says it too.
Celebrations come because of something good
Celebrations we love to recall
Mary had a baby boy in Bethlehem
The greatest celebration of all
Not enough for you?
Check out my church's very own song
Called 'Love's Come Down'
Do you know the meaning of the season
Past the tinsel and lights,
the festivities and laughter
it's a story of the ageless love
For God so loved the world,
He gave His only son
We spend Christmas at Orchard Road, at the malls and whatnot.
But we really should be spending this precious day worshiping and remembering Him.
And celebrate that fateful day 2000 years ago.
Where Jesus was born to die for our sins =D
So I wish you all an early Blessed Christmas!
