Encounter Jesus 5 Camp
I am Camp Sick (If there's such a thing)
Before going into the details, I'd like to say
EJ5 CAMP IS THE AWESOME-EST THING EVER.
SORRYSORRYSORRYSORRY. (I'll explain later)
Day 1:
Met Yvette and Dasrene at CCK mrt to begin our long train ride to Pasir Ris
It was totally squeezy in there with our luggages haha.
When we reached, we took a taxi to THE OTHER SIDE (not EJ5 Campsite)
And we went to the I DARE U campsite hahahahha
A little pissed cause we didn't look at the info paper correctly
And wasted some money.
So we reached there and was late.
Put our luggages in the holding room.
And then went for briefing at the main stadium.
So Level 1s and 2s went to WILDWILDWET first
While Level 3s and 4s went to play the outdoor games
First time going to WWW and it was...AWESOME.
Hahaha, went to the river first and shared a double float with Yvette.
Then Joel kept splashing us.
After that we tried the Ular-lah (or smth)
Screamed so much hehe.
After that we did the long purple slide which was a little scary cause you couldn't see anything inside.
Went to the wave pool last.
Keon kept capsizing us hahahahahah
I have no idea why I was the only one among Yvette and Dasrene that actually capsized.
Cause Keon was like
" You can swim right?"
" Yeah"
And the next thing, I was already in the water.
Rode the Sky Ride after that to get a auto dry off.
Went back to campsite to dry off more and eat wonderful lunch.
After that was the outdoor games.
Totally AWESOME.
Went back to campsite to bathe (YAY)
And gather for wonderful dinner.
And lastly...PRAISE AND WORSHIP!!!

Then they did the praying thing..
Where the Leaders would lay hands and pray for those who came to the front.
I didn't go for that one cause I was a little scared.
After all that was the AWESOME sermon by Ps Benjamin.
He told us not to boast about material things but boast about the fact that we know/understand God.
If we do not boast, those things shall run after us.
He taught us that the hebrew word for 'KNOW' is Yada.
Yada can mean:
- To know by observing; reflecting
- To know by experiencing
To know God, we have to experience Him with feelings.
Emotions = my sick-bed of change
Grace = The Divine Strength
And remember, It's PERFECTLY FINE to cry in the presence of God.
Love does not just provide, it protects too.
Day 2:
Woke up.
Had Quiet Time as a whole DARE.
Took Holy Communion and read the Daily Devo for the day (9DEC)
Then we went down and had breakfast.
Played the movie game after that.
And also the Project Runway game.
Then we went to games!
Unfortunately we were only able to play 2 games because of the time.
And the 2 games we were able to play involved PAINT YAY.
Yellow and Blue to be exact.
Had a hard time washing off all the paint after that tho.
Then it was dinner and AWESOME PRAISE AND WORSHIP AGAIN HAHA.
This time I went for the praying thing.
Although I felt the Holy Spirit pushing me but I refused to fall and steadied myself.
It was a great experience.
Sermon by Ps Benjamin again.
This time, he said...
God is LOVE.
So, if we know LOVE, we know God.
Because God personifies LOVE.
Discipline is out of LOVE and punishment is out of hatred.
Get God Involved.
Day 3:
Had service in the morning and did the praying thing again.
This time they prayed for those who had issues with their Dads
Went twice and fell twice.
Got really emotional and started crying after that.
It was truly and AWESOME experience.
It was also the final service for EJ5 Camp.
Ps Benjamin said...
That we were created to strive in the environment of LOVE
We were created for LOVE, in LOVE.
And pride is broken down everytime we receive LOVE.
Our identities are the Children of the Most High God.
Therefore, when we know that, we don't comprimise.
People cannot resist LOVE
After that AWESOME service, we went to do Team-Building games.
There were 3 stations.
Shark Attack, Capture the Flag and this Grid game.
After that, we went back to wash up/eat dinner.
Had DARE GOD TALENT after that.
One group performed a dance item.
Of GEE and SORRYSORRY.
So now everyone is crazy over the SORRYSORRY dance.
Everyone keeps rubbing their hands in the air.
hahahahah.
SORRYSORRYSORRYSORRY.
Congratulations to E.O.TREME.RA.ZIO.ME for winning!
AWESOME P&W after that.
And there was no curfew!!!
So we all gathered at Keon's room to play to entire night.
He treated us to Macs Supper!
We played Murderer until like 4.
Then the girls went back to their rooms.
Yvette, Dasrene and I stayed back to play Cheat!
With Joel, Pethuel and Soar.
And it ended up with me and Joel left.
So at one time we were so tired of playing that Yvette (she was helping me play some parts) slammed down all my cards and said
" SEVEN SEVENS!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAH.
And we ended up going like
"4 Kings.."
"4 Queens..."
LOLROFL.
At around 6, we left and I headed to my room alone.
But saw the Extreme + EG people on the way back and decided to stay and play with them.
Talked about Sean and other stuff.
Danced around.
Finally went back to my room with Jasmine and Ruth.
Talked a while and slept for around half an hour.
Listened to music till 8+.
Then started packing my bag to get ready to go home.
We brought our luggages down at around 10.
Put them in the holding room while we went for breakfast.
Then the camp closing ceremony,
Prize giving, Saw a camp video then picture taking.
Ahhh, it took me a while to remember all this cause I have a slight case of STM.
"Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
